Delaware USA Wrestling announces the appointment of Brandy Dolt as the 2024 Women’s Summer Program Coordinator. Brandy will be responsible for providing information to and coordinating with female wrestlers, clubs, and parents in Delaware to support and promote activities for girls this spring and summer. DE USAW and Brandy will highlight wrestling opportunities, including tournaments, clinics, and camps as well as provide coaching, leadership, guidance, and financial support for our Delaware girl wrestlers.
Brandy attended Oscar Smith High School in Chesapeake, VA where she was the first girl to place at several tournaments and blazing a path for the female wrestlers that followed. After high school, she attended Missouri Valley College where she finished second at the 2004 Women’s College Nationals. Her husband Chad was a two-time All-American at the same school. The two played a role in getting women’s wrestling sanctioned in Missouri, with the girls from that initial group now placing in states and nationals. Brandy and Chad have seven children, with three girls that wrestle, including Makenna, wrestling at Southern Virginia University.
